As your average man, requiring a haircut just about once a month means I want to find a place that is convenient, consistent, moderately priced, & has an amazing atmosphere. What does that mean? It means getting your haircut by Jennie at Lady Jane’s in Palatine. About 3-4 years ago as i began my career, I moved to this town. Having lost the lady who cut my hair since I was a kid, it suddenly became a daunting task for me to discover the right place as well as the right person for this challenging job. I visited many establishments prior to lady Jane’s. I tried them all. None of them however, could compete with what lady Jane’s expert hair stylist, Jennie, offers. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is confident, energetic, enthusiastic, witty, & down right a blast to get your haircut by. With her smile, ability to slash the most difficult scalp hairs, & fun personality….She creates a positive environment that keeps me coming back for more! In regards to the shop, it is always clean, has the correct sports channels on, & is always playing the most upbeat popular music. I will definitely return. This place is highly recommended. I will also tell others about it.

So let’s begin… walking in first impressions comfy seats. Color on the walls weird and not comfortable to the eye. But we are not here for that….Moving forward with the wait time. There were only two people to cut hair so you can imagine how you are a walk in and wait awhile when their appointments come in. It means make an appointment. On to the hair cut, nice friendly staff makes you feel comfortable sitting down.. I started a conversation and we continued on from there. Precision and carefulness was key during this part and this place exceeded my expectations haircut came out great and $25 with shampoo and hot towel so much better than sports clips. Guys don’t sweat it come to this place instead of sports clips. Sports clips came out to 45 then tip added was about 55$. I like when the tip goes more to the worker than the company. This place suited me fine and I will return. Minus one star only because of the appearance of where you sit.
